Local Time: 03:39 PM | Looks like it's already falling in the US from the small bump Crazy gave it. I love you, America. |

Local Time: 01:39 PM | Just to point out, my estimate of sales was especially low. Note that at position 108, NLOTH still sold over 4300 copies. Therefore, my estimate of 4500 is most likely off by 500. If that's true, we are talking about hundreds of copies here (5000 this week vs. 5500 last week). So not necessarily a drop - just a bouncing around on the charts as I imagine a few hundred copies can make a big difference in that section of the charts.

Local Time: 09:39 PM | its up to 35 on iTunes which is higher than its been in ages. I think its reasonable to expect a climb into the top 60 in next weeks BB200. (a whole 7000 copies or so. Don't spend it all on sweets lads.) Crazy is up to 14 on iTunes Rock Songs. Currently the top 9 on that chart are also on their top 100 overal. So if airplay improves in a similar manner we could see a BB100 entry in the next 2 weeks (after all iTunes is the biggest retailer in the US and several of the songs on their top 100 are recurrents - and therefore not eligible for the BB100) |

If U2 can keep pushing that Blackberry ad, maybe have that SNL or other appearance, officially "release" the track in Sept. while simultaneously starting the U.S. tour, this could finally give the album a push back up. While I doubt it would return to the 20's or higher as it did in various European countries U2 has toured in so far, it should keep NLOTH running steady possibly through the end of the year, thus giving it a nice holiday boost. Not enough to see 2X Platinum, but maybe close in on "Pop's" sales. Normally that's nothing to brag about, but in today's market, those are suddenly great numbers!

Local Time: 04:39 PM | And rising on Amazon.com It's also up to #32 on Amazon, probably one of the larger online retailers for physical disc sales combined with downloads. Yesterday it reached #29, which would have been the last day for this week's BB charts. I do expect a good bounce on this week's BB chart. |

Of course, despite the rise to #8 on the European charts and in the U.S., it'll drop on MediaTraffic. ![]()

Local Time: 09:39 PM | The only single material left from NLOTH is called Stand up comedy. |

What I do know is that there should be four singles. U2.com gave out these boxes that were designed to hold the four 7" singles (that is, vinyl 45 rpm singles that are still quite popular in the U.K.). "Crazy", which is being released on vinyl (as GOYB and "Magnificent" were), will come out in early Sept. It was very easy for us to guess the second and third singles, but I'm at a loss for what U2 or the label will select as a fourth single. Songs like "Breathe", "Stand Up Comedy", NLOTH or even a shorter version of "Moment of Surrender" could all be possibilities. ![]()

Local Time: 04:39 PM | Breathe seems far more likely than SUC, especially given its prominence on the tour. |

Local Time: 09:39 PM | There were rumours about SUC as a single when the album was out, and I also think that is the most radio friendly song left in the record, although i believe that "NLOTH" could be a very good single and a best song to promote in future concerts or any kind of presentations like Tv Shows. |

Local Time: 04:39 PM | Breathe has the biggest chorus outside of CT, if that doesn't take off on the air... none of us should ever care about the commercial aspect again. |
