The Beav speaks highly of Space Oddity, but his early albums all seem to be more folky, if Hunky Dory is any indication.

Ziggy Stardust should be the first album you go for.

I see Axver's stats and wonder what he could have done with a Preem.

and this i agree with. i got sick of true colours for a while but i've fallen back in love with it. i love shark attack, it's awesome. and how can you not love i got you? pure new wave awesomeness. i'm a tim fan before a neil fan though so my favourites always seem to be his stuff.

I like Radiohead very much. But I'm not a fan the way I'm a U2 fan, and I'm very comfortable with the fact that lots of people don't like U2/Bono/anything that's not on the Best Ofs.

To each, their own.

no probs their management has been made aware of it because it's on amazon too, but i guess they're slow to act (or more likely their record label doesn't give a shit).

Like I wonder what Chris Mullin would have done in college if the 3-pointer existed when he played.

That's hilarious. Bold As Brass is OK. Parrot Fashion Love is a bit dodgy. Charlie's kinda boring. Jamboree even moreso. I can't even remember the rest, that's how little I care for it. I think it's the Enz album I've played the least.

and time and tide...total brilliance. dirty creature is my favourite split enz song. i actually like never ceases to amaze me. pioneer/six months in a leaky boat is the most brilliant pop song ever composed. log cabin fever is one of neil's most mature works yet (at that time obvs).
I entirely agree with your comments about Dirty Creature and Pioneer/Six Months. In fact, the opening trio isn't bad at all. But it's true, it's Tim And Tide, and Neil's better if you ask me. I always skip Haul Away and Log Cabin Fever to get to Make Sense Of It, which is awesomeness.

For me, Frenzy is easily #1, with Waiata and True Colours fighting for #2.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."
