No, they are playing Labor Day weekend, just haven't changed the dates on their site..check My Space page....

Hope springs eternal that we 2 "easties" (Mr. Blu & I) can attend a SoCal gathering one of these days. Sadly, we know it won't be this summer or even this year. We've got the one big trip to see the Queen & then, poof! - our traveling budget is blown for a while. Stupid middle class shackles.

Elevation- in SoCal-we'll play at the gathering!
we're in San Diego- and we'd love to be a part of it.
"Elevation", The San Diego U2 Tribute Band

full light show and more, down to the guitar picks, the same guitars...we recreate the U2 concert experience. We use a midi controller for keyboard parts for a full and accurate reproduction of their live show.

i know of a good u2 tribute band playing on 8/8..in o.c.

Under A Blood Red Sky is playing House of Blues in Anaheim that night (it'll be up on the HOB website later this week when tix go on sale). HOB in San Diego the next night. (that one is already on sale $10)

Still the only U2 tribute to have played Red Rocks.

We are there on Labor Day Weekend. The JW wanted us there for their anniversary weekend so we had to change the day.

We are also in at Romanos in Riverside on Aug 9th and will be at Pala Casino in So Cal for a show with JACK-FM on Sept 13th.
