A question about interference.com

Hope this is the right place to ask this question, coz I couldn't find the info anywhere else on this forum. But exactly what year did interference.com start up? I need this information for an essay I'm writing, called 'Me and U2' for a U2 book a bunch of us Finnish U2 are putting together.

Interference.com originally started in 1994, but under the name "The Fly's Lair" and was on a personal website of mine.

In 1996 the project was renamed to Interference. The domain name Interference.com was purchased in August 1996.

The first version of Interference.com was launched in December 1996.

I've just finished proof-reading my essay and was waiting for this info. It's already 3 pages long, and sub-titled 'My Life as a U2 fan' !

I didn't realized you started this site already back in the mid-nineties!!
