With Or Without You?

though if they already learned New Year's Day, they could do something harder than that then.

With or Without You is very easy for bass.

E --------10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10/5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5/7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7/3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3--------

Vertigo is easy too, and it's the same all time.

A -------5-7-7-5-7-7-5-7---------------------
E -------------------------------5-5-5-5-4-3-3

The Beautiful Day verse riff I play like this:

G:---------------7-7-7-0-0-0-0-0-7-7-7-7-------
D:-7-7-7-9-9-9-----------------------------7-7-7-

Something like that. Do it over and over. Sunday Bloody Sunday, Trip Through Your Wires, and Elevation are easy too. Adam Clayton's bass is easy to learn, but still interesting to hear.

Yea Gloria is good, but it's tough for beginners. I've been playing for almost a year now and I still fumble on Gloria (or maybe Im doing something wrong, I dunno)

Well, i started off learning bass just by playing to U2 songs. Then i progressed onto other bands like Queen... world of difference. Gloria = 'an easy Queen song' imo.
