Help on Wake Up Dead Man Tab!

OK guys this might be more difficult than it sounds...

On the Elevation: Boston DVD The Edge playes WUDM tight, as usual.

His guitar is tuned down 1/2 step, and the chords are

Em D C Am
Jesus, Jesus help me, I'm alone in this world
G D
And a f*cked up world it is too

He playes that for the verses. Then comes the hard part.

The chords for the Chorus are supposed to be:

Em D A Asus4
Wake up, wake up dead man.

But Edge plays some funny variation of A & Asus4 on the A and D strings! I can't figure it out. Please help someone!

I can't figure out the funny things your talking about. All I see him doing is pull offs, hammers ons, and slides. Just little bits in between the chords.

D---- 3--2--0--Am

It's during the chorus where he playes A & Asus on the 3rd and 4th frets that confuses me
