i actually took a course this year in high school.
a. we didnt learn shit
b. its just annoying as hell

I done my thoery exam last week got 15% out of a 100% *I think*
done a resit 2day and a got a pass *which is 40%*....theres WAYYY to much to remember...

I wonder how edge is with music theory...my guess, he's pretty good

well he's self taught so idk....maybe he picked it up later on. teach me edge

I was job shadowing this year so I job shadowed a college student and they were taking music theory. I sat through it....it seemed like a waste of time...

...but if Edge could teach me everything...I'd remember it MUCH easier!!!

sadly I barely got music at highschool (only two years) but now my bassteacher is gradually teaching me some of the theory aswell... seeing as he is a music teacher I should be learning the good stuff

very cool, i was thinking of doing it, i mean im just enrolling as a freshman this year so i have plenty of time to change majors but theory was what really stopped me.

yeah, it would be pretty hard to concentrate though

i went to a private school so they offered theory for one year thats it, no other music class. i learned it with my guitar teacher. have fun...haha

well good luck with that...this book may come in useful it's called theory and harmony by keith wyatt...mind you, theres alot of info to take in for music thoery. it don't help havin a short memory, like me.

I actually wish my high school offered a music theory class... maybe I should just take piano back up or take guitar up and learn it that way.
