Strum Patterns/

The Edge writes some really awesome songs, but I cannot figure out the strum patterns to just about everything. It's starting to make me discouraged about playing guitar and uh...yeah...Does anyone have some great ways to figure out strum patterns to songs?

One things for sure.....unless you have the correct delay dialed in, you will ALWAYS have a problem with the strum patterns. For instance, Streets...during the verses you hear what almost sounds like a clean 1-2-3-4 type strum. The truth is there are a few repeats on the delay but when strummed to the correct time of the delay actually overlaps so it sounds like its snapping almost. hard to explain (now that I am trying to explain). maybe another edge guy can help me put into words what I am trying to get across.

hope this jibberish helps
