Until the end of the world arpeggios

Well, I have been messing with this song for a while and I can do the riffs fine, and even most of the arpeggios. What is driving me nuts is the final two shapes. I'll explain: IN the live version he plays the main riff then starts the picking/arpeggios. There are about 6-8 of them the last two have totally bamboozled me, it looks (if you look at those clever youtube guys) like the final arpeggio in the set is using a G chord, and I just cant see how that can be? Any one please help with this? ANd yes I am an idiot.
