How do you make the sound The Edge makes during Zoo Station throughout most of the song? It's a certain way you play the string isn't it?

if you mean the bell sounds. they are done on the bridge area of a Les Paul.

just use a lot of gain on your amp
as fast as you can pick(my english is pretty bad,hope this is the right word) the 6th string.

What's the bridge? I've yet to buy a guitar but I'm planning ahead and also giving it to my friend who has a Les Paul.

That is the bridge and are mostly always found on
Les Pauls
