Just moments ago on WZLX 100.7 FM in Boston, DJ, author and old comrade of U2, Carter Alan said on the air that fans should expect some US stadium dates in addition to the already rescheduled dates that are soon to be announced, we have been told by some readers in the area.

Carter Alan was very close to the band at one point, he is certainly somebody in "the know". Lets hope he's right!
