'Vertigo 2005//U2 Live From Chicago'
NEW YORK, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- "Vertigo 2005//U2 Live From Chicago" will be released by Interscope Records on November 15, 2005. Filmed at the United Center in Chicago on May 9th and 10th this year, the Vertigo 2005 DVD brings the Vertigo tour experience to the small screen. The DVD spans two discs: the full live show, directed by Hamish Hamilton -- director of both U2's previous million-selling live DVDs ("U2 Go Home Live from Slane Castle" and "Elevation 2001: U2 Live from Boston") -- plus an additional disc of bonus material including Beyond The Tour, an intimate behind the scenes documentary and startling 'surveillance cuts' of the Chicago show. Filmed using four remotely controlled black and white infra-red surveillance cameras; the footage offers a totally different perspective on the show. "Vertigo 2005//U2 Live From Chicago" brings together recent hits from 2004's number one album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb," live favorites such as Where The Streets Have No Name, and rarely played early tracks including Electric Co, An Cat Dubh and set-closer 40. The Vertigo tour continues in the US through December 19. By that date the band will have played more than 100 shows to a total of more than three million people in the United States and Europe. The full DVD track listing is as follows: Disc One Performance from Chicago United Center, filmed May 9th and 10th, 2005 City Of Blinding Lights Vertigo Elevation Cry/Electric Co. Cry is the intro of Electric Co. Its got a sharp guitar and some singing by Bono. The lyrics are
Somebody cry Somebody cry Somebody cry Somebody's eyes Somebody's eyes Somebody sigh Don't you look back Don't you look back Don't you look back Somebody cry Somebody cry Somebody cry Well I can't say why Or what for What for It's not on the album version of Electric Co. |
