MERGED ----> Will they play "Window" live next week? + Where will WITS...

What do you think? Will U2 play "Window in the Skies" live next week when the Vertigo tour resumes? My guess is they'll play it at least once or twice over the remaining concerts. The crowd would go crazy.

well infact, i asked the edge on friday outside the palazo versaci exactly this question

the answer he gave me was "mmmmm i duno" with a bit of a grin on his face

From the description of it being a piano/string heavy song, It's probably pretty complicated to replicate. Maybe they'll snippet a bit of it, even just Bono singing a line or two, but I doubt they'll give us a full version of it.

Maybe it will be like Lemon with lots of effects, backing tracks and such. More machine than man.

Maybe they'll go all OOTS on us. "Not quite sure how to play it live" and all. Perhaps Bono will play piano w/ Edge on guitar?

it's not an easy song to play live (a lot going on, they would have to use backing tracks) certainly not an easy song to sing for Bono maybe that's why Electrical Storm never made it

Im not sure if it will be played live at all. This is very different to anything they've done before.
In fact, I dont see it working unless theyve got something else up their sleeves. There's no real position for it. Or? What do you think?
