Having Walk On in their too just didnt make it flow. Maybe they rehearsed that as a stop-gap just in case they dont nail Kite in time.

I'm guessing that Walk On might be used instead of Kite on the second/third night in other cities. Or perhaps it will take on the closing role? After all, U2 said they wanted to give us a taste of Elevation too ...

I'm not so sure still that they would drop Sometimes, even though it's so similar to Kite. They've played it at every show, I believe, (correct me if I'm wrong Axver) and it was song of the year. It wouldn't make sense to have both, but I'm not so sure.

You're quite right.

Vertigo, SYCMIOYO, LAPOE, and COBL are the only HTDAAB songs to have been done at every single show.

I dont get why the remaining shows in all likelihood will have extra ATYCLB tracks in the set... but the same did not happen in mexico and south america. After all, U2 did not play any Elevation shows in those places either.

Sure, it's nothing too surprising, but to me this would be a pretty solid U2 show. Keep in mind, they'll probably rotate the setlists in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Tokyo. So I think we'll see rotations of different closers, and differentiation between the Boy and Achtung songs, as well as which ATYCLB/HTDAAB songs are played on a nightly basis. Because it's a stadium show, I doubt we'll see the "Adult Contemporary Encore".
