More than likely, it would be a good guess that U2 uses the same setlist night after night in Oz. Now, that being said, it's also probably that one or two songs could be rotated, or that the opening portion switches with the middle, or the encore stars the concert or whatever.

Keeping all of this mind, I have formulated a probable setlist with a few changes and additions into it based on what U2 have done thus far on the tour, and considering their appearance in Australia (look for a Zooropa/Pop song) plus The Saints are Coming and Window in the Sky at least once).

I find it very hard to believe that Pop will go unplayed throughout the entire tour. Also, Zooropa should make an appearance in Oz.

I tried to keep this as realistic as to what the setlists have been thus far without going too far out onto the edge.

Yeah, but with some tweaks. Remember, most cities on this leg are getting two shows. In other words, the first leg of the Vertigo Tour should be a good guide as to what we'll get in the way of variety.

Discotheque has already been played, 17 and 20 September 2005. I see no reason to believe they'll bring any Pop stuff back now though, as Discotheque clearly didn't work in their opinion and Mofo didn't get beyond soundcheck. Though it would be nice to get some Pop stuff, seeing how Popmart missed NZ.

I also don't see why The Saints Are Coming will be played. U2 has recorded covers before without performing them live on a nearby tour.

And you forgot Stuck In A Moment. You can GUARANTEE they will do that in Australia (unfortunately), considering Michael Hutchence was from here, it will be close to the 9th anniversary of his death, the song hasn't been played here before, and U2 has expressed a desire to play ATYCLB songs here as Elevation missed coming here.

The Pop encore is realistic. I think Stay will be added because of the Zoomerang Leg. Look for Fast Cars to be played earlier in the show. I also think with the book the band will throw in Electric Co. and Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill. The Unforgettable Fire might be represented by A Sort of Homecoming, which they played on this tour, and maybe Unforgettable Fire.

Not seeing the connection. U2 played Stay on the Zoomerang leg so they'll play on this one? If that logic works, where's Dirty Day and Lemon? Lemon was a bigger hit in these parts too, I think.

No they haven't. ASOH was last performed on 16 November 2001 in Oakland, when a fan pulled on stage to play guitar began playing it and U2 went along with it. The last time U2 themselves actually intended to play the song was on 25 August 2001, and that performance was shambolic as it was the first performance of the song since June 1987.

The only UF songs played on Vertigo have been Pride, Bad, and (some may view it as a snippet) MLK.
