What would the coolest final Vertigo show be?

01. City Of Blinding Lights
02. Vertigo
03. Elevation
04. Until The End Of The World
05. New Year’s Day
06. Beautiful Day
07. Window In The Skies
08. The First Time (acoustic)
09. One Tree Hill
10. Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own
11. Love And Peace Or Else
12. Sunday Bloody Sunday
13. Bullet The Blue Sky
14. Miss Sarajevo
---- HUMAN RIGHTS VIDEO ----
15. Pride
16. Where The Streets Have No Name
17. One

ENCORE I:
18. Zoo Station
19. The Fly
20. Mysterious Ways
21. With Or Without You

ENCORE II:
22. The Saints Are Coming
23. Angel Of Harlem
24. Kite
25. Bad

ENCORE III:
26. Vertigo

I tried to be as "realistic" as possible considering only the songs they've played this leg.

I think we should expect a 3rd encore.

Why? Some posters here seem to have this funny idea that the final concert of a tour has an extraordinary setlist. This has occasionally happened but it is not usual practice for U2. The last time it really happened was 10 January 1990. Otherwise, you're lucky to get one special song, e.g. 40 at the end of Popmart.

And OK, coolest final Vertigo show. I'd like to go for something a bit more broad, something comprehensive for the tour, and I'd like to imagine that U2 will indeed play a special extended show.

1. City Of Blinding Lights
2. Beautiful Day
3. Elevation
4. The Electric Co.
5. Gloria
6. An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart
7. The First Time
8. One Tree Hill
9. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
10. Love And Peace Or Else
11. Sunday Bloody Sunday
12. Bullet The Blue Sky
13. Miss Sarajevo
14. Pride
15. Where The Streets Have No Name
16. One

17. Zoo Station
18. Until The End Of The World
19. The Fly

20. Fast Cars
21. Window In The Skies
22. Kite
23. Bad/40

24. The Saints Are Coming (with Eddie Vedder)
25. Vertigo

So we're expecting a longer setlist? Any prior form?

Vedder is too good to play that Saints crap.
Play A Sort of Homecoming with Eddie! My pretty unrealistic setlist would be:

1. City of Blinding Lights
2. Vertigo
3. The Electric Co.
4. An Cat Dubh
5. Into the Heart
6. Gloria
7. Until the End of the World
8. Who´s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
9. Walk On (full band)
10. Sometimes You Can´t Make It On Your Own
11. One Tree Hill
12. Love and Peace or Else
13. Sunday Bloody Sunday
14. Bullet the Blue Sky
15. Running To Stand Still
16. Where the Streets Have No Name
17. One
18. Zoo Station
19. The Fly
20. Discotheque
21. Mysterious Ways
22. Crumbs From Your Table
23. A Sort of Homecoming (with Eddie Vedder)
24. Kite

Dreaming out loud...

Why does everyone think Party Girl will be played? Is it just me that sees that as doubtful?

Because it's the last show? After all, they did it to celebrate three successful shows in Sydney (2006-11-13, Sydney) and seven successful shows in Australia (2006-11-19, Melbourne), so why not to celebrate 131 successful Vertigo Tour shows?

But.. a lot of people seem to see Bad, 40, Vertigo x2.. can't see the band pulling out Party Girl in addition to those.
In isolation perhaps. Anyway, as long as it isn't a shambolic performance, it is all good!

Heh, after the dire performance in Sydney, it seems like they actually did rehearse it for Melbourne because that performance was technically much better! So I can imagine it showing up.

Personally, I only see them doing one of either Bad, 40, or Vertigo. I'm very much hoping for Bad. And we got Bad in the same show as Party Girl in Melbourne.
