Local Time: 03:53 AM | Vancouver B.C. 4/28/2005 My two daughters and I drove up from Seattle with GA tix and were lucky enough to be scanned into the bomb shelter! Yes, they actually let all three of us in, since we were together. Midway through the show, while I was standing directly behind her, Bono spotted my youngest daughter and reached down to pull her up on stage!!! That's her in the middle of this picture. I think the Dropkick Murphy's T-shirt and her Irish look made him notice her. Unfortunately, She FREAKED OUT and backed up!, giving another young lady the chance of a lifetime. I'm sure neither girl will ever forget that night! It was still the best concert any of us has ever seen!.... |

Local Time: 09:23 PM | Oh wow! What did Bono say when she wouldn't get up on stage?! I don't blame her - I don't think I would have enough courage to get up on stage either! Cool story though! |

Local Time: 03:53 AM | He didn't say anything, just pointed to the girl next to her and had security pull her up instead. I know Bono likes to bring younger people up on stage when he can, since he has at least a few kids of his own. |
