What made you pick Rentschler over the Hartford Civic Center or the Meadows? I would think they'd be more likely to play at the Meadows...

I don't like the idea of there being over a year for me to wait before they come anywhere near me...

Re: The Next Tour: The Let's Please Everyone Tour!!

Here's why, if this tour was real, it would make me EXTREMELY happy....

April 21, 2005 - New York, NY - Madison Square Garden
April 23, 2005 - New York, NY - Central Park (Free Concert)
Any combo of those shows, really, but definitely the April 19th one- that's my golden birthday. (And yes, it would be the best birthday EVER to stand in line for 9, 10 hours in hopes of seeing the band members.....*sigh* I can imagine it now....)

OK, if they did this one (any date, really), I would FLIP. OUT. Why? Hometown concert!!!!!!!

(psssst- Really and truly, it's called State College, not University Park.)

In regards to why I picked Rentschler over the Meadows...Rentschler is bigger. Unless there's some sort of special significance to another place that I know about (ie Fenway Park/Yankee Stadium etc.) then I've just been going with the largest place around.

University Park is what shows up in my atlas and on the stadium website I was at...

PS: Today is busy for me and tonight I'm gonna go get polluted so Leg 3 will be up tomorrow! I promise! I've already got it almost done, but just in case y'all are wondering here is the list of countries in order:

Ireland -> France -> Andorra -> Spain -> Portugal -> Spain -> United Kingdom -> Italy -> Vatican City -> Italy -> San Marino -> Italy -> Switzerland -> Austria -> Slovenia -> Croatia -> Bosnia & Herzegovina -> Serbia & Montenegro -> Kosovo -> Macedonia -> Albania -> Greece -> Bulgaria -> Romania -> Moldova -> Hungary -> Slovakia -> Ukraine -> Georgia -> Armenia -> Azerbaidjan -> Russia -> Belarus -> Poland -> Czech Republic -> Poland -> Lithuania -> Latvia -> Estonia -> Russia -> Finland -> Norway -> Sweden -> Denmark -> Germany -> Holland -> Belgium -> United Kingdom -> Ireland

So far I'm up to Finland.

But I'll be too hammered to do it tonight.

I'm sure DaveC's got them under orders to record multiple Zooropa-style releases, because, after all, we're pleasing everyone.

I, for one, am looking forward to the Azerbaijan leg. I have a curious fascination with that country, and indeed the whole Caucasus region.

Good schedule but I doubt the order will go like that.

I think that from Winnipeg to Edmonton will be a seperate CND run instead of having all the dates going back and forth from the U2 to Canada. I do like this idea since I am in Vancouver and it is close to Christmas.

December 1, 2005 - Victoria, BC - Royal Athletic Park
December 3, 2005 - Vancouver, BC - B.C. Place
December 4, 2005 - Vancouver, BC - B.C. Place

I like the idea of the second leg. I also like the idea of 2 NY shows and one NJ show.
