Welcome back
I was in California again, this time in Southern CA. Took the boy to Legoland and spent some time on the beach. We're both rather tan now!

Superthread still scares me a bit. I think I'll just stay here in PLEBA for awhile longer even though it seems that the PGP is so much more quiet than it was when I first came in here.

Good luck on the driving test. Just breathe. Big deep breaths in and out. And if you're really nervous, just shake your hands out to get some of the nervous energy out. You'll be great!

hi drea!
glad to here you mom's first rpound of chemo went well.

in another window I'm looking up how to close up 2 sections of crochet together!
I think you can use the Slip Stitch for certain closing up together sprojects>

I actuazlly made my first little bag....Cause I took soooo long to give my sis her combined x-mas & B-D gift (A gift card) I made a little bag to to slip in the envelope with the GC insdie of that.

and in fact several days earlier the bag I initially started for the same purpose (medium Teal) yarn- but it got too big, so I restarted it~~
with a gorgeous Rainbow Ribbon Yarn from Lion brand--

---so I went back to the teal one as I started the new one and thought if I make it some what longer I could use it to hold my Walkman which I sometime drop <<too much I get every time it drops-when will it finally die on me from this unintended bad treatment>>

I also --having gotten some intructions from ? Stich Diva or one other site I have found to be the most usueful for me re: easy visual plus good text instructions-- started crocheting on the edge of the each side of the bag to make a ?? gusset??- sides for the bag!

I was soooo proud to have done it on my own (w/o a live person trying to teach me) !
