I'm glad you were able to say goodbye, and you had that chance to spend time with her in the last year or so. Please take care of yourself as well as your dad, you'll need each other now, I think.

I think the lock of hair is a fine idea.

Yea....I'm starting to feel better (I still get evil thoughts that I shouldn't have about everything.)

I'm glad I got to spend one more year with her too

I also got a lock of her hair from last year when she almost died on us.

Yea she looked like crap the last three hours we were with her (but I only have glimpses because I was drained and having a headache from crying so much) but at least we were there to say goodbye.

Hey Daz!

We just brought home a kitty!!!!! Not a kitten, anyone can adopt a kitten. We just brought home a full grown beautiful lady cat. Will take pics tonight or tomorrow.

And I do have a lock of her hair to remind me of her (I know that sounds really weird...but there's a picture frame with a lock of my hair when I was younger...and it sparked the idea of getting a lock of her hair).

I took a lock of my Mom's hair too. I'm a very visual person, but the kinetic aspect in me is VERY strong, too- loving textures, motion, learning by doing, snd I ,guess perhaps, a bit more attactment to physical things, as well.

Don't worry about it....I ruled my household for a long time too

But I knew not to push it because of my mom. Heck she didn't even have to try do anything and I acted like a good girl
