Tomorrow, huh? I'll think about it, it's gonna be an absolute fail getting from here to the city in the heat given the way our rail network functions these days. I was hoping next week, after I'd gotten paid and when it's a bit cooler - but looks like you need it asap.

Tomorrow's only going to be 27, and I think everything will run satisfactorily. There haven't been any major problems yet either.

I'm going to Puffing Billy on Saturday (hope it's cooler in the Dandenongs!), so I'd like my camera to be working properly for that.

The other difference between regions is that somewhere like Melbourne can have a wildly varying range of temperatures, i.e. 22 one day, 31 the next, 40 the next, then down to 21, while in Queensland, it can just hover around the low to mid 30s without any change for weeks on end.
Dry heat I can't take the humidity and my hair looks like yours in humidity. Not good.

I firmly maintain that 40 in Melbourne is only as bad as 32 in Queensland, purely because of the humidity up north. With a steady supply of cold water, I can handle a dry heat. Humidity's just ... all kinds of unpleasant.

Well, I was meant to get it for something like $60, so I'm pretty happy with that... do you reckon I should send an angry email?

I'm used to humidity, having grown up in Asia, and I find that dry heat really dries me out (surprisingly). That being said, a steady 20-26 degrees would be ideal for me, with occasionally extremely heavy rain (none of this Melbourne "rain" rubbish).

Melbourne rain is more like a gentle shower. I really noticed the difference when I was in Europe.

Personally, I'm most content with the temperature around 15-17 and a light breeze. I'll go up to 20 or 21 if you make the breeze a bit stronger.

Did they promise you would get it the day it came out or close to that date? Cause if so, yeah I would.

Being in the desert, we get dry heat. It's only humid just before and just after it rains. Rain that's usually accompanied by some badass thunderstorms. The kind that can rip 60-year-old trees out of the ground, shatter windows, and flatten outbuildings.

The thunderstorms up in Queensland would make you feel right at home for a few minutes at least, Reggo.

Sweet.

Microburst - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Microbursts, basically backwards tornadoes. Doesn't do as much damage.

Well, I don't know about 'promise', but the release date on their website was the 30th of October, and I got the email saying it was delayed on the... 5th of November. What should I say?
