Interesting. Is that an Ontario thing? Is it done by residents regardless of ethnic background, or just a certain part of the population?

May just be an Ontario thing I think it depends on the couple rather than ethnic background, but then again I've been to a total of 3 in my lifetime so I'm not one to go by

I guess I'm so used to the way Italians do weddings, that I have no idea how everyone else does it. I always find it interesting to learn, though.

They're called 'socials' in Manitoba, that I remember.

Yeah, I had to do a double-check when I read that shag part - especially after having lived in England!!

What's everyone getting up to tonight?

Oh, and Phil, I only joined the bar a few months ago and I ,too, wondered if you had to be Canadian but I was told it was merely a coincidence

Nothing seems to be going on and there's no one playing tonight that I want to see - and that includes at Nathan Phillips - so I'll be at home tonight with junk food, ice cream and alcohol

Actually, that's true - my friend is coming over to watch the game first
Had I know Drea, we could have bought you another ticket!! Oh well, I'm sure you'll have fun

So there's a guy at work I kind of fancy but he doesn't know it and he often flirts with this other girl which drives me #*@*$ing bonkers and she just invited me to her house for a drink. This should be interesting

Yeah that does sound interesting. Good luck with that.

I'm going to be feeding my snake tonight, if you catch my drift.

I was talking about music It's a given I'll be following (somehow, as I have no cable) the game tonight, and hockey smack talking with American friends on Twitter during it
