I can't decide what's most wrong about this:
-selling off your U2 collection
-doing it on e-bay, which just reeks of profiteering.
-or charging as much for it as for a mid-priced car.

Whoever's doing this is either one greedy bastard or else really, really desperate. Either way, it's kinda unsettling.

LOL! what does the guy expect? $23,000 and no bids? Yeah right! He says he has over 140 rare U2 cd's yet one of the rarest records I know is a toss up between Beatles and Elvis, (Beatles one mainly for the cover) and the last I heard they were both equally valued at �20,000 so this guy has no chance,I bet if you put all the U2 rarities together in one collection,they would not be worth $23,000 going by my big Music Collector book!

well 142 cd's at 23000 is just under $162 a piece. i guess it's possible but highly unlikely. maybe if he posted what the cd's actually are...

Maybe it's just me but it seems no CD's are worth that no matter whats on them. I'd like to know whats on them though, I'm curious to know how the guy came up with that price.

Rare is just another word for bootlegs. Why buy a bootleg when you could easily download a concert off the net?

I would rather be interested in rare U2 vinyl myself.

WOW! I have most of those CD's - and the ones I'm missing on that list, I didn't want. I also have many more CD's.

Therefore, if someone is willing to give me $22,000, I'll gladly sell you *my* CD collection. Why, that's something like $160/CD. Note the bargain rate!
