Hey Scatteroflight...It is great to see another fan of the Simple Mind's "Good News From the Next World"...and I would have to agree with you that the whole album really rocks...and that the lyrics and music are brilliant. Is there any other albums of theirs you listen to and like?

I have several of them, I don't listen to them a lot though. Sparkle in the Rain is great, the greatest hits is a good overview, and I have to admit I like Neapolis (which tanked) much more than Zooropa or Pop! Street Fighting Years has some amazing songs too.

GNFTNW was actually the first record I bought by them. I fell in love with She's a River--largely because it sounded like old U2 to me...later I discovered that there were a lot of differences between them and U2, but I still like the resemblances too...
