freezing cd discs

a cold canadian winter is approaching (it can get to -30 celius), and i have a bunch of cd's and dvd (in their cases of course) stoard out in the un-heated garage.

I'm kinda worried. Can these freeze and damage the disc? alot of them are burned cd's of u2 concerts and i would never want to lose that material.

anyone?

I don't think cold hurts CDs, quite the reverse. It would be heat that would concern me.

I leave all of my CDs in the truck, winter and summer. And they're fine

Yeah cold shouldn't be an issue at all, heat is the problem...

I have left mine in the car when it has iced over this winter and had no problems

The natural enemy of cds and dvds is water/humiditiy, as it causes a reaction and long-term can destroy the cd/dvd.
