Local Time: 07:04 PM | Heres the problem: Created 5 databases in Access on a computer with Access 2002. Transferred databases onto USB stick to plug into computer with a working printer. Computer won't open databases because the version of Access on that computer is different and it doesn't recognize the format! What would you do? Try to upgrade the Office software on the computer with the printer? Or 'borrow' the printer from the other computer and try to hook it up to my computer? Or something else? For what it's worth, the databases are saved as .mdb. Maybe theres a way to change that so it will open up in the other..dunno. ![]() |

Local Time: 06:04 PM | Even though you figured it out, for other folks: Usually you can save the database as an earlier version of Access .... if you have Access 2003, you can save as Access 2000 file format.... as well as others. |
