i would say the fact that he used the spoiler tag makes him a lot more credible. if someone was doing this to fuck with people, they wouldn't care about spoilers.

we'll see, i guess. i would say it seems likely though since the UF remasters are coming out his year, and i believe it was Adam that said that Drowning Man is one of his favorite songs, which also hasn't been played before.....and the band said they want to play songs that they've never played before.

They played The Ocean on the Vertigo tour. This set seems pretty credible to me, outside of Drowning Man which, even though Adam didn't know what album it was on, DID come up in an interview a while back.

Understand, but how did TUF and Drowning Man sound like? Did Bono perform, too? Or was it instrumental or just some instruments fooling around?

Maybe it was just Adam screwing around with the bassline, like when he warmed up by playing 4th of July.
I'm actually getting a "truth" vibe from this guy, but it's probably just silly little gullible me.

Well, actually, Fake Edge may have not been that fake.

And u2bdn I'd love to believe you, but right now I think I have every right to be sceptical.
It's quite hard to believe and yeah.. I've always had to hear stuff myself in order to believe it.Do you have any more info rather than just song names? Instruments?

I'm banking on it being a snippet of some kind, unlikely full band or even acoustic. Drowning Man has never been played in full, but has been snippeted. The loose rhythm of the vocals allows for that sort of thing.
