Local Time: 11:31 AM | Final Show Predictions in Vancouver What do you guys/gals think? Will they end this leg on a special note? IE for Vancouver will they throw in a surprise or two in the setlist or do you think the setlist will be pretty much the standard setlist? I am hoping that they will throw in YBR and ES and replace some of ATYCLB songs like walk on (no much chance). DO you think they will be extra energetic or will they be in the "one last one lets just get this over mode" and play because they have to play and not much energy to it. My dream for tonight apart from having a super high energy U2 performance is that they throw a few surprises. I woul LOVE to hear 1 YBR (possible) 2. ES (possible but not likely) 3. Stand up (will not happen!) 4. Fez (no chance in hell) and I hope they get rid of: 1. WOWY 2. Walk on 3. Still Havent Found What I am Looking For! What are your predictions in setlist/ performance tonight?? |

Local Time: 06:31 AM | After "Moment of Surrender" and all the people "in the know" think it's over they we hear the beginnings of "Bad" - they come back and do a 15 minute kick-ass version which includes a full version of "40"...the whole stadium exits singing " how long to sing this song"...This is what should happen but won't....a shame really. Unless there are some drastic changes in the next leg(S) of this tour it's safe to say that U2 are wayyyy tooooo predictable and have become old and lazy....still a great show mind you...but absolutly NO spontenaity whatsoever. |

It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat." "And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth." U2gigs: The most comprehensive U2 setlist database! My photography |

Local Time: 03:31 AM | Just back home from Vancouver show Great show! Very relaxed, Bono very chatty, we sang Happy Birthday to Bill Gates who was in the house, so was Mr & Mrs Edge (Edge's Mum & Dad)who Bono thanked for driving them around in their orange VW in the early years. During City of Blinding Lights Bono "ran the lap around the catwalk" with a lil girl about 8 years old he plucked outta the crowd, he then put his glasses on her, got down on 1 knee and serenaded her, was so funny she didn't want to wear his glasses, he had to keep pushing them up her face, I was literally 5 feet away from them at the top corner of the red zone 1 against the rail, awesome spot to see the show! Just about perfect. |
