The main reason I lined up in Foxboro was to get a rail spot(outer rail, front or back rail in the pit). I'm not worried about showing up and not getting a decent spot. I'll likely get into the pit if I want to, or be 2nd or 3rd row on the pitch. Or I could chill by the soundboard. But the railskank within me dissapproves of all of those ideas. In Toronto and Chicago, I'll definetly be lining up early. Don't know for Montreal.

It's just how the website's seating chart is being. The inner circle is a part of GA for sure, at all times.

k, so if a second show is added, will or will not tickets for it go on sale tomorrow? In anticipation of this possibility, I read this article in french today in which it was stated that tickets for the second 2009 shows in TO, chicago, boston and new jersey went on sale an hour after the tickets for the first show sold out (after an announcement of a second show of course).

I know Toronto 1 and 2 went on sale the same day. Foxboro 2, Chicago 2, and Jersey 2 went on sale the week after.

That article is incorrect. The shows might have been announced, but the tickets for the US shows went on sale after they held a 2nd presale similar to the way the 2nd Anaheim show was done just recently.

It seems the 2nd Toronto show was added even before the 1st one had a general sale.

Quote:
A second Toronto show has been announced and a presale for U2.com subscribers will get underway this weekend.

The shows in Toronto will take place on September 16th and 17th and both go onsale to the general public this Monday morning.

Tomorrow, Saturday, a presale begins for U2.com subscribers who have not yet used their presale access codes - we'll be sending out an email with details today.

Heh. I'd be willing to help organize a gathering. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd say an Irish pub makes the most sense, so maybe Hurley's or McKibbins, both of which are downtown.

yes, they knew RIM took a large bulk of first night tickets, so they planned a second show...nice of them to let us know the day of sales though...

i hope us fans get montreal july 16 at night 2 if they add a second one. i would not feel as bad if they added a july 15 date versus a july 17 date
